We’re looking for a friendly, proactive, and organized Residential Property Manager to join our team. As one of our Residential Property Managers, you’ll be in charge of keeping everything running smoothly at the properties you manage. That means handling day-to-day operations, maintaining the property, and making sure residents are happy. You’ll also work closely with property owners to meet their goals and keep everything on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management:
- Oversee property operations, including scheduling repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections.
- Ensure the properties stay in great shape and compliance.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address any issues residents might have.
- Work with a team of maintenance staff, accountants, and other property managers to make sure everything is running efficiently.
- Tenant Relations:
- Be the go-to person for residents—whether it’s answering questions, resolving concerns, or keeping them updated on building issues.
- Manage lease renewals, new lease signings, and tenant communications.
- Handle rent collections and manage overdue payments and other financial matters.
- Leasing & Marketing:
- Show available units and help market the properties to potential tenants.
- Manage all aspects of leasing, from application to move-in.
- Work on strategies to keep occupancy high and turnover low.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in residential property management (ideally 3+ years)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using property management software
- Knowledge of local and federal property laws
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A positive, customer-focused attitude
